‘Gift Wrapped 2020’ Starts Tomorrow at Clutter Gallery!! Take an Early Peek at 8 of Our Favorite Entries

It’s that time of year! Clutter Gallery, Beacon, New York’s finest designer toy and pop art purveyor is holding their 8th annual Gift Wrapped Exhibition! Gift Wrapped 2020 will be held in-person at the Clutter Gallery from December 12th, 2020 to January 1st, 2021 (given there’s not yet another reality-shifting apocalyptic event before this year finally ends—follow Clutter Gallery on social media for the most up-to-date schedule).

There’s a vast variety of over 100 different artists featured at this awesome holiday display, including favorites like Dolly Oblong, Sad Salesman, Tokyo Jesus, and Dead Beat City. We’ve picked out a few highlights of awesome artwork premiering at Gift Wrapped 2020. Whether or not you celebrate Christmas, you’ll want to add these toys to your winter wishlist.  

1. Decaying Dumpster Fire, by czee13

That’s it. That’s 2020 right there.

The Decaying Dumpster Fire by artist czee13 is the perfect symbolic icon to close the series of disasters that has been 2020. Each one has stunning hand-painted detail, including chipping paint, a rusty underbelly, and super glossy flames.

2. Custom painted wood cuts, by Mr. Kumkum

Each of these colorful hand gestures have equally colorful hand-painting.

Artist Mr. Kumkum is best known for incredibly intricate and polished painting, and that’s exactly what they’re bringing to Gift Wrapped 2020! Mr. Kumkum has created a series of custom middle finger plaques printed and cut specially for the exhibit. Each will have an original, unique, hand-painted design.

3. Totem Owlberries, by Owlberry Lane

Unique and beautifully hand-crafted Owlberry Totems.

A master of clean sculpts and luminescent painting, Heather Hyatt, the artist behind Owlberry Lane, has brought her A-game to Gift Wrapped 2020 with a new batch of Totem Owlberries. These stunning sculptures have historically not stayed in stock for long, and with such a sleek aesthetic it’s easy to see why.

4. Peppermint Dreamer, by 5thturtle

A cool new look for Dreamer with Peppermint Dreamer.

Peppermint Dreamer, the newest rendition of the Dead Dreamer collection by artist 5thturtle, will be premiering at Gift Wrapped 2020. The cool glow-in-the-dark peppermint color scheme makes the ever spooky Dreamer a delightful nightmare before Christmas, and one you won’t want to miss!

5. MirrorBauble Robin Set, by Muffinman

[heavy breathing]

The Muffinman is back at this year’s Gift Wrapped with the extra special MirrorBauble Robin! Like his usual robins, this one is rotocasted resin and dons the grumpy-cute smile we all know and love. Unlike his previous robins, MirrorBauble is shiny as heck and comes with a miniature version of itself!!

6. Lil’ Tater Tots, by Sad Salesman

These stupid cute Lil’ Tater Tots are Sad Salesman‘s entry into gift Wrapped 2020. They don the ever-enchanting wide eyes and chubby little smile that could even captivate the crankiest curmudgeon! After all,. who could say humbug to those itty bitty faces?

7 and 8. Palm Sized Onmyoji Baphomet and Cursed Gaki, by Tokyo Jesus

Just last week, Tokyo Jesus shocked fans around the world with his super secret online sale. Clearly not content to end this year with only one surprise, the artist is joining Gift Wrapped 2020 with two awesome sculpts, Onmyoji Baphomet and Cursed Gaki. According to Tokyo Jesus, both are palm-sized one-offs.
