‘VANDULISM,’ ‘ANEMOIA,’ and ‘Fractured Galaxy’ — A Clutter Gallery Triple Event, with Vandul, JCORP, and Galaxy People, Jun 10 - Aug 6

Hold on to your pants, because our friends over at the Clutter Gallery are having one… two… THREE(!) artist solo shows this weekend: Vandul‘s VANDULISM, JCORP‘s ANEMOIA, and Galaxy People‘s Fractured Galaxy!

This triple event will have a slew of amazing toys rendered in hand-painted resin and bona fide sofubi. But that’s not all! There will also be prints and paintings, and did we mention free merch?! That’s right, limited edition Vandul gear will be given out for FREE on a FCFS basis to the first people through the door. More on that after the jump!

VANDULISM, ANEMOIA, and Fractured Galaxy start in-person at the Clutter Gallery on June 10 @ 6pm EST.

But as with all their shows, online previews start at 12pm (noon) and online sales at 2pm the same day, but only for Clutter Gallery’s preview list subscribers.

1. VANDULISM — Vandul

This one has been a long time coming. With related concept art from at least as early as September 2020, Vandul has been prepping for this solo show for months.

VANDULISM will feature 20 new sculpts, including the hype af YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE bootleg series, featuring 9 one-off Vandul resin renditions of Luke Chueh, 100% Soft, Euphoric Supply, Quiccs, Kid Robot, and KAWS.

Toys aside, there will also be prints and wall art, as well as free goodies (Clutter says prints and pins) on a first come, first served basis (Vandul says the first 80+ people).

If that’s not enough for you, the enigmatic Vandul will also be there in person! Attendees can get a glimpse of our anonymous artist and maybe even get some stuff signed.

For a closer look at Vandul’s goodies (and prices!), you can check his personal site here.

2. ANEMOIA — JCORP

HK-born and NY-based, JCORP is an OG Invader near and dear to us for her street-kawaii sensibilities. She paints cute things onto other cute things, and isn’t afraid to hit the streets with her anime (and Asian snack) inspired style.

ANEMOIA is JCORP’s first solo show with Clutter Gallery, and we are terribly excited to see what she’s got in store. From the previews, we see Bulma, Rei, and maybe Asuka in the sparkly-eyed pop-culture paint job JCORP is so famous for.

According to the artist, ANEMOIA features an all-new selection of pieces that combines JCORP’s “love of anime, toys and Asian pop culture all at once.” Seriously good stuff!

And lastly, it seems that JCORP will also be in attendance at her own show. Drop by and maybe you can snag a signature!

3. Fractured Galaxy — Galaxy People

Galaxy People is a Japan-based toy artist who specializes in sci-fi sofubi. Looking like villains fresh out of the OG Super Sentai, Galaxy People’s sculpts are a modern (but not too modern) take on retro-inspired characters. Oh, and they always sell out!

Fracture Galaxy is the very first Galaxy People solo show at the Clutter Gallery. Though his work has graced many of their show in the past, this is the first time he’ll be headlining his own.

Fracture Gallery will feature 30 one-off hand-painted variants of characters and vehicles that span Galaxy People’s entire body of work.

Best of luck to those looking to score! If any of our readers make it in, drop Vandul and JCORP a hello from the Invasion crew!
