Mushi Bros Toys, the Kaiju Kings, are sending their best to Invasion Toys NYCC Booth #3059 — PLUS! An exclusive prototype preview!!

We’ve been wanting to work with Mushi Bros Toys for so long we’ve lost count, and now, it’s finally happening!! Our (Mushi) Bros are sending a super limited number of their incredible kaiju sofubi all the way from the island paradise of Taiwan, just in time for New York Comic Con!

You can take an early look at the amazing vinyl monsters that are Joining the Invasion, as well as an ultra exclusive prototype preview that has been shared nowhere else! That’s right, you saw it here first!

Mushi Bros Toys?? 🤔

For those who aren’t kaiju sofubionados, Mushi Bros is a young toy company born from its cofounders’ love of bugs and reptiles. We asked for their story, and here’s what they had to say:

Mushi Bros Toys was started in 2019. In Japanese, the word “mushi” means insect. The company chose this name because of the designer’s enthusiasm for insects, specifically beetles.  

The founders of Mushi Bros Toys, Wei and Matt, met one another at the Hamburg Reptile Show in the year 2013 and quickly became friends based on their shared interests.

In the year 2015 Matt created his own toy project, Studio Kabuto. Under Studio Kabuto, he released his first toy, Cambrigon, the Triops Kaiju.

In 2018 Wei and Matt decided that their love for all things involving beetles and reptiles and addiction to sofubi toys needed to be combined into a brand new studio: Mushi Bros Toys!

We encourage all fans of beetles, kaiju, and sofubi toys to look forward to the designs that MBT will bring to you!❤️

Mushi Bros Toys x Invasion Toys NYCC Exclusives

For this year’s NYCC, we’ve managed to bring you not one, but FOUR different Mushi Bros sofubi! These puppies are 100% vinyl, and each is hand-painted by the Mushi Bros themselves.

We will have Aqua and White Glow Plastron, Gaia Hercules V.2 - Ignite, and Doedicuron V.1 - Thunder!! These are totally sold out, and our stock is among the last remaining out there!

Each of these amazing sofubi is $135, and we will have only THREE available per design. They will be sold on an FCFS basis at Invasion Toys NYCC Booth #3059, this October 7-10!

Plus, show up in-person to catch the prototype world premier of 巨蟲兵 (Kyotyuhei), the Giant Insect Soldier!!! See you at NYCC!
