‘DoraeJEM,’ Tanavit23’s Latest Sculpt! — On Sale July 30!! [Invasion Exclusive]

DoraeJEM, that Tanavit23 new new, is an Invasion Toys exclusive release!

It’s 2021 and the future is here! Introducing the world’s first and favorite bionic JEM, DoraeJEM! Tanavit23‘s latest creation will be dropping very soon, and only with your friendly neighborhood Invasion Toys!

If you can’t tell from the name, the signature bell, and the fourth-dimensional belly pocket, this JEM is based on Doraemon, the world’s favorite 22nd century robo-cat! But “Who is Doraemon?” you say?? (deep breath…)

Who the heck is Doraemon??

For those who didn’t grow up in an Asian household or are otherwise unfamiliar, Doraemon is an earless robotic cat who found its first incarnation as a 1970 manga character. Since then, the Doraemon franchise has spawned 1,345 chapters of manga, three anime TV series, and over 40 animated films.

With its prodigious history, Doraemon is one of the largest franchises in the world, raking in an estimated total revenue of $6.04 billion to date.

Even if you haven’t read or seen the adventures of this big-mouthed future feline, you’ll probably recognize his iconic design. Doraemon’s rounded features and chibi proportions make him a perfect visual crossover for JEM, and JEM’s iconic headgear is a perfect fit for the earless Doraemon. 

Tanavit buffs and JEM collectors likely recognize DoraeJEM from social media posts, with DoraeJEM concept art dating from as far back as May of 2020.

According to Tanavit23, DoraeJEM is a “fictional character in the JEMpanese Manga and anime series. DoraeJEM is a robotic tiger that travels through time from the 23rd century to cause mischief to Tanavit.”

Well worry not, dear Invader! We won’t have to wait until the 23rd century to get our hands on this mischievous roboJEM. In fact, we only have to wait a few more days!

Like all things Tanavit, OG DoraeJEM is hand-cast and hand-painted resin. This one measures in at 4 inches tall. The OG colorway is an Invasion Exclusive; it will never be reproduce or released anywhere else!

DoraeJEM is an edition of 50 and drops in the Invasion Toys webshop this coming Friday, June 30 @ 12pm EST. They retail for $75 each, and they are not a pre-order!
