‘1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURES,’ aka ‘PROJECT 8,’ by J.T Studio x Quiccs — the Collab We’ve All Been Waiting For! [Updated]

The release of the 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURE by JT Studio x Quiccs is upon us!

All year long we’ve been seeing teasers of the next best Quiccs piece, the 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURE, aka PROJECT 8, by J.T Studio! Well, bit-chompers everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief, as the drop date has finally been announced!! [Updated below with full drop details]

About J.T Studio

Quiccs needs no introduction of course, but for those who aren’t familiar with JT Studio, it’s a Taiwanese design studio helmed by one Jei Tseng. Founded in 2014, JT Studio puts out high quality, hand made, 1:6 scale action figures that mesh traditional characters with aggressive streetwear style.

Starting with Journey to the West‘s Sun Wukong, Tseng has gone on to produce Dragon Ball, Mega Man, DC Comics, and Astro Boy-inspired figures, as well as a slew of original characters, among many others. They are all hallmarked by incredible attention to detail and a ridiculous amount of accessories.

About the 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURES, aka PROJECT 8

In October 2020, J.T Studio dropped the very first teaser for the 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURES, then titled PROJECT 8. It seems like the collab may have since dropped the code name, but we still like it quite a bit!

Not to buck Tseng’s signature style, the 1:8 action figures come with an assortment of accessories, as well as that perfectly scaled TEQwear drip. Not only that, but it looks like each figure includes a TEQwear body bag (fanny pack) replete with buttons and Bulletpunk Syndicate branding.

Based on the scale, the figures will likely measure 8 inches tall. They are probably vinyl/PVC with fabric clothing and are confirmed to have 16 points of articulation.

The 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURES come in two variants, and if they are like previous J.T Studio releases, they can be purchased as singles or sets.

The price has yet to be revealed, but pre-sales will go up on April 15 @ 9am EST. They will likely be sold via bulletpunk.com and jtstudio.com.tw. Set your alarms!

Release details update 4/13/21

Looks like there’s been another addition to the name. These figures are now called 1:8 TEQ63 ACTION FIGURES 8′ 2GO Series #1, with OG Black and Ghost White variants.

OG Black can be purchased as a single, but Ghost White will only be obtainable by purchasing the two-pack.

OG Black will retail for $175, with an edition size of 99. The two-pack will retail for $299, with an edition size of 249. Both include free shipping with an estimated delivery date of December 2021.

Every 1:8 TEQ63 comes packaged in a Bulletpunk Syndicate fanny back with buttons. The 1:8 scale accessories included with purchase are:
