‘Tank Club’ and ‘FTW,’ a Clutter Gallery Double Feature with Klav and Jared Circusbear! [Preview Gallery]

Fresh off the heels of 5thturtle‘s Mind the Mess and It Was All A Dream, Clutter Gallery is bringing us two more incredible shows: Klav‘s Tank Club and Jared Circusbear‘s FTW!

Tank Club is the second show for Klav’s TANK CLUB sofubi plus other things, like After Kobayashi, Klav’s amazing Gundam kitbash from before his work in toys. And before you ask, yes! TANK CLUB are indeed poured n’ pulled in Japan, which makes them sofubi, rather than just another vinyl toy.

Jared Circusbear’s FTW is a solo custom Kidrobot show. For the event, Circusbear has worked his magic to produce some of the best custom Dunnys and Munnys we’ve ever seen. These impeccable works are all gaming-related and all seriously impressive.

Both shows open this Saturday at the Clutter Gallery. Pieces will be on display from May 8 to June 5. Let’s take an early look at FTW and Tank Club!

1. FTW - Jared Circusbear

Jared Circusbear is taking us down a warp pipe straight into some video game nostalgia!  FTW is packed to the brim with vidya-fueled pieces.  From the first time you fought on the Temple stage in Super Smash Bros. to the fiftieth time you flew off Rainbow Road in Mario Kart, Jared Circusbear has a knack for tapping right into our childhood!

Jared Circusbear has made sure to include pieces that will fit in any shelf: Pokémon-themed Munnys are 3 inches tall, Mario Kart themed Dunnys are 5 inches tall, and the Super Smash Bros. Dunny is one big boye, measuring in at 8 inches tall.

Each hand-painted custom combines the Dunny or Munny platform with hand-sculpted details. Take a look at the preview gallery below:

2. Tank Club - Klav (aka Klav9)

Klav, often known as Klav9, is bringing his new TANK CLUB sofubi into the Clutter limelight. Designed and sculpted by the man himself, TANK CLUB continues to prove that Klav’s got more than enough substance to back his style.

Klav’s ever-iconic custom job graces 16 pieces that are simply jaw dropping. Aside from Klav’s custom mecha, Tank Club will feature TANK CLUB customs by over 30 other worldwide artists. We’ll be seeing pieces by the likes of Mr. Kumkum, Quiccs, czee13, Motley Miscreations, Uhh, Sure Monsters, JFO, Sad Saleman, Ricstroh, and more!

Tank Club is sure to blow the roof off and we are here for it! Take a sneak peek below.

Thanks for tuning in! The free opening reception for FTW and Tank Club will be held in-person on May 8 @ 6-9pm EST. Exhibits will remain on display until April 30.

Online previews go live on May 8 @ 12pm (noon) EST, while sales for both shows will begin on 2pm EST for Clutter Gallery’s preview list subscribers.

If you are in the area make sure you stop in and see it with your own eyes! There’s no way these pictures do them justice.
