Life-Sized ‘Slowpoke Poké Plush’ Now Available for Pre-Order From the Pokémon Center!

The mega-sized Slowpoke Poké Plush is now available for pre-order!!

Do you find yourself relating to the soft, pink, fictional embodiment of foggy thoughts, a constant state of exhaustion, and the tendency towards procrastination? Well, we’ve got good and bad news for you.

The good news: the Pokémon Center has just released a massive made-to-order Life-Sized Slowpoke Poké Plush! The bad news: you’ll have to go against your innate nature and act fast if you want to get one! Oh, also they cost $450.

These Slowpoke plushies are G I A N T, measuring an incredible 65 centimeters in height, 75 centimeters in width, and 150 centimeters in length from nose to tail curve. That’s roughly 25 x 30 x 59 inches, or nearly 5 feet long! 

Pokémon Center US says the Slowpoke Poké Plush measures 47 inches. So overall, we’re not sure where the discrepancy lies. Perhaps the Pokémon Center JP’s measurement means 150cm to the tail tip, rather than curve. But with these next pictures, we’re not so sure…

While the size is apparently accurate to the national Pokédex, luckily the weight is not. An in-game Slowpoke weighs 36 kilograms (almost 80 pounds), but this fluffy plush counterpart weighs “only” 7.8 kilograms (a little over 17 pounds).

The Pokémon Center states that this huge plushie is intended for people 15 years and older. This is likely both due to it being twice the size of your average toddler and costing an impressive ¥49,500 / $450. But, as this photoshopped Thanos would say:

You can pre-order the Life-Sized Slowpoke Poké Plush from Pokémon Center US or Pokémon Center JP, the price is roughly the same from both sites.

Pokémon Center JP states the pre-order window is only open until June 30, with an estimated shipping date of November 2021.
