‘AP-2K KumKum Version,’ by Mr. Kumkum x Wetworks — Exclusive Raffle for Existing AP-2K Collectors, Now Open

Mr. Kumkum and Wetworks team up for the ultra-limited AP-2K KumKum Version

Introducing AP-2K Kumkum Version! A divine collab between Mr. Kumkum, Wetworks, and The Terror Troopers, several of the industry’s beasts in the Far East.

You likely remember Mr. Wetworks from his recent Kidzilla x Gameragirl collab with Kiwi-powerhouse Yoii, or perhaps from his FOXY: RELOADED custom show, or any number of incredible customs and limited releases he’s been pumping out lately.

Mr. Kumkum also needs no introduction, but for those who might need a refresher, you can check out his Tank Club entry, his Dead Dreamer custom, or his phenomenal KAWS bootleg from March of this year.

The Terror Troopers is a design studio based in Singapore and headed by Shak. They are the original creators of AP-2K, and their collaborative Kickstarter with Wetworks is what brought the samurai hypebeast into the third dimension. You can check out the campaign here.

These industry giants have come together once more to bring us AP-2K Kumkum Version, a low LE figure with an incredible paint job. Using the AP-2K sculpt as its base, the Kumkum Version features a rare, triple-color treatment, hand-painted by Mr. Kumkum himself.

Eschewing his usual all-gold styling, AP-2K Kumkum Version has a red skull and half ribcage, and grey details throughout. In hypebeast fashion, Kumkum Version has that famous swoosh on his right arm, while also sporting what looks like Air Jordan 1 x Air Jordan III Black Cements (KWESTONE approved!).

If you look at the figure’s helmet, there’s also a small red X, reminiscent of a cross-boned Off-White logo; it’s a perfect nod to Mr. Kumkum. Unfortunately there’s no Kumkum Blue on this colorway, but that’s a pretty small price to pay for such an amazing colorway.

AP-2K KumKum Version Lottery Details

AP-2K KumKum Version is limited to just 10 pieces, each retailing at $300. They are vinyl and stand roughly 6-inches tall.

As a Wetworks thank-you to AP-2K collectors, this release is only open to those who own or have purchased one in the past. If you believe you fall into that category, you can enter the lottery here.

Wetworks has assured us that the lottery winners will be checked against past AP-2K purchasers. Those who own aftermarket AP-2Ks may still enter and will be contacted for proof of ownership after the drawing.

The lottery runs June 22—June 26, and invoices will be sent out on June 28.
